Australian Consolidated Industries, Ltd, glass, engineering and plastics group, had another record year to June 30 when total sates and output exceeded those of the previous year. Consolidated net profit rose from £2,337,108 to £2,645,157. The steady 12J per cent, ordinary dividend, plus pref-
erence charges, took £1,598,511 (£1.533,451 the previous year). The latest profit is stated after £3,093,731 (£2.565.091) for tax and £2,078,649 (£1,886,734) for depreciation plus other heavy provisions.
