Drama League Final
(tyZ. Press Association) HASTINGS. August 28. The Newfield Country Women’s Institute (Southland) won the British Drama League festival final in Hastings this evening with the play. “While the Circus Passes,” by ' Isobel Lownah. The Tawa-Linden Drama Club's "The Scarecrow,” by J. A. Ferguson, was very highly commended. The judge, Mr J. Thomson (Auckland) said it was unusual for him to make a second recommendation.
