TOP NURSING HONOURS
Hospital Matron At Darfield Miss P. Sutton, who was appointed matron of the Darfleld Hospital this month, topped the Dominion in the recent midwifery examination. This was the third time Miss Sutton had gained top place in State examinations. “To be top three times I can only describe as a staggering effort,” said the chairman of the North Canterbury Hospital Board (Dr. L. C. L. Averill) yesterday.
