Furston—Yeatman: Mr and Mrs W. Yeatman, of Hornby, have much pleasure in announcing , the engagement of their eldest daughter, Janet, to John,( eldest son of the late Mr and Mrs Furston, of Foxton.
Jarman—Stringer: Mr and Mrs J. M. Stringer, 33 Hare street, Upper Riccarton. have pleasure in announcing the engagement of their daughter, Shirley Margaret, to James Gough, youngest son of Mr T. D. Jarman, Yaldhurst, and the late Mrs P. A Jarman.
Parr—Mackay: The engagement is announced between Julie Rae, only daughter of Mrs G. Mackay and the late Mr H. G. Roy Mackay, of Papanui. Christchurch, and Alexander Heuchan, younger son of Mr and Mrs R. S. Parr, of Roslyn, Dunedin.
