Mr N. C. Rees, M. 8., 8.5.. F.R.C.S., has been appointed as the first Medical Superintendent of the Hastings Memorial Hospital. Born in Wales, Mr Rees is at present assistant surgeon at Taumarunui Hospital. He is expected to begin his duties at Hastings early in November—(P.A.)
