“Increase Unlikely” (N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, August 10. The Western Samoan Minister of Agriculture (the; Hon. Asiata Lagolage) said in Auckland today that he did not think toe chances of improving trade between Newj Zealand and Samoa were very good. Talks with toe DirectorGeneral of Agriculture had given him toe impression that it would be difficult to increase exports of bananas and other fruit to New Zeeland. “We want to widen trade between the two countries,” he said, “particularly in toe market for bananas. But it aM depends on the amount, of money toe New Zealand Government has to spend."
