Navarro To Join Randwick Stable
The Riccarton stayer Navarro will join the Randwick stable of F. Dalton later this month to be prepared for the big Cup races in Melbourne.
Navaipo will be in charge Of the Riccarton ownertrainer, fMr J. F. Tutton, on the tripfto Sydney, which will get undfer way op. August 18. The Riccarton trainer, I. McClure, who has prepared Navarro for his five wine, had planned -to take the Safoaeen
gelding and Waverley to Melbourne for spring racing. The trip was scheduled for test month, but the departure date was put back until August 18 because of an outbreak of infectious anaemia in Victoria.
Waverley’s owner, Mr J. W. Woodhouse, has now decided not to send her three-year-dld to Australia, and McClure

A cable message from Sydney says Dalton does not know when Navarro will have his first race here, “All I know is that Navarro ig a good stayer and TH be happy to have him ip my stable.” Navarro has beep one of the cups fancies since the first chart was issued in June.
