Z.P. A .-Reuter—Copvnpnt) CANBERRA. August 9. , Dr - p - L. Bazeley has been gven the task of getting AtMttaiia’s Salk vaccine production back into full swing. The Commonwealth Health Department has announced that De Bazeley will be one of the senior medical officers, grade HL, in the consultation division of toe Common, wealth Serum Laboratories The statement said that Dr .Bazeley. former director of the laboratories would "consult in virus vaccine production with special reference to poliomyelitis.” Dr. Bazeley was charged recently before a Public Service board of inquiry with improper conduct as a public sen-ant after he criticised a Federal Government decision to appoint a five-man commission to run toe laboratories.
