Pedestrian Injured

A woman pedestrian was injured when she was struck by a motor-scooter at the intersection of Clyde road and Riccarton road about 6.10 p.m. yesterday. She is Mrs Margaret McAHey, of 281 Riccarton road. Mrs McAlley was admitted to the Christchurch Hospital suffering from head injuries and a compound fracture of a leg. Her condition was reported as comfortable. The rider of the motorscooter, Miss Elizabeth Reid, of 31 Rountree street, was treated for head injuries but was not admitted.
