SHOW GROUNDS MANAGER
Mr I. Doak Chosen
In 10 years in the Chatham Islands, Mr I. Doak was hotelkeeper, storekeeper, barber, and undertaker. His varied experience was referred to yesterday by the secretary of the Canterbury Agricultural and Pastoral Association (Mr H. M. Studholme) when he told the general committee that Mr Doak had been appointed manager of the association’s show grounds at Addington. There were 140 applications for the position Mr Doak. who left the islautda three years ago, is married, with three children.
