C.F.M. Drops To Lowest Point Since Share Split
Canterbury Frozen Meat dropped Is 6d in sales yesterday to reach its lowest point since the share split earlier this year., pilknit lost 2s 6d of the big gain made a week ago, and Dominion Fertiliser and Evening Star also lost ground. Trading in New Zealand shares yesterday was steady, with rises balancing falls. Overseas shares showed a weaker trend. National Insurance, Fletcher, N.Z. Farmers’ . Fertiliser, V ibrapac Wellington and William Cable made the best gains among New Zealand Shares. A. B. Consolidated rose another Id. Australian Chemicals, Cox Brothers, Reid Murray and Mount Lyell were the only overseas shares to improve.
