WELLINGTON TRADE FAIR
Exhibits By Czechs (N.Z. Pres* Association) WELLINGTON, August 2. About 10 skilled tradesmen will arrive in New Zealand shortly from Prague to help with the assembly of the Czechoslovakian exhibits at the International Trade Fair to open in Wellington on August 22. Exhibitors from Czechoslovakia have taken more than 2000 sq yds of floor space at the fair, and a large variety of goods will be on display. Visitors to the exhibition will be able to see and examine Czech-made textiles, cars, glassware, rubber goods, ceramics, and gramophone records. There will also be a large exhibit of machinery. Staff will be at the stalls to describe in detail the merits of Czech manufactures. Mr J. Mayer, an experienced architect, who will supervise details of the erection of ths exhibits and stalls, is expected to arrive in Wellington from Prague tomorrow.
