Victory School P.T.A. Meeting

“Sex Instruction for Children” was the subject of an address given to the Victory School Parent-teacher Association at its annual meeting. The speaker was Dr J, R. E. Dobson, director of the psychiatric division of the North Canterbury Hospital Board. He also discussed modem atu udes to sex. Some ot the Ideals for which the school’s board of governors is striving were explained to parents by the Rev. C. L. Dobbs, vicar of St. Matthew’s Church. Officers elected were: Patron, Mr H. J. Walker, M.P.; president, Mr S. J. Stevens; past-president, Dr. J. B. Jameson; vice - presidents. Messrs N. G. Pickering and R. F. Wilson; secretary. Mr H. J. Wallace: committee. Miss L. McMonagle (staff), Mesdames J. Sellman. R. C. Halliday and C. Holland, Messrs W. J. Weir, J. A. Moon, and C. Bulfln.
