Papanui H.S. Wins At Creymouth In an inter-school sports contest in Greymouth yesterday afternoon, Papanui High School was successful in all events but one against Greymouth Technical High School. The latter's nole success was at Rugby. Its first XV won by 17 points to nil The other contests resulted: Soccer: Papanui 10. Greymouth 1. Boys’ hockey: Papanui 9, Greymouth 0. Girls’ hockey: Papanui 5, Greymouth 0. Basketball: Papanui 19, Greymouth 18. In a debating contest the previous evening, Papanui beat Greymouth narrowly. The subject was “that the mtraduction of decimal coinage is of value to New Zealand.” The Papanui team took the affirmative. The Rev. R. i Bullen was the judge and Mr E. Thomas the chakman.
