Tennis Wimbledon’s Prospects

The All-England dub, which has srtrongly campaigned for permission to throw open the Wimbledon lawn tennis championships to both professionals and amateurs, “will give careful consideration to the nature of the 1962 Wimbledon.” In a veiled statement, which aroused much speculation in British tennis circles, the club secretary (Lieuten-ant-Colonel Duncan Macaulay) said today this action would be taken in view of the decision of the International Lawn Tennis Federation at its annual meeting in Stockholm yesterday.
