Clerk Faces Spy Charge
(Nut. Press Assn.—Copyright) LONDON, July 13. Several London newspapers today named the Admiralty clerk who will face a charge under the Official Secrets Act at Bath. Somerset, on July 21. as John Palmer, aged 19 The “Daily Telegraph” said official statements indicated the case was trivial and had been under control from a very early stage. Nevertheless inquiries in Bath showed that copies of the documents and textual notes found by investigating officers were in fact very Important, the newspaper said.
