CHARGES OF THEFT

Suppression Of Man’s Name (N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, July 13. Three chargee of theft by misappropriation, involving £6300. were faced by a 29-year-old man who appeared before the Auckland Magistrate’s Court today. Mr W. S. Spence, S M., made an interim order sup-' pressing the man's name at the request of counsel, Mr M. R Grierson. Accused was remanded for a week and was allowed bail of £2OO with a similir surety. The charges allege that accused fraudulently applied money given to him for some purpose to another purpose, in violation of good faith and contrary to direction. One charge alleges the theft of £3OO, one £4500 and one £l5OO.
