Hockey 9-1 WIN TO N.Z. TEAM

North Coast Beaten (N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) LISMORE (NS W.). June 11. The touring New Zealand hockey team today beat a North Coast team by 9 goals to 1. The half-time score was 4-1. Only a brilliant display by the North Coast goalkeeper. N. Elliott, kept the score from reaching very high figures. The New Zealand combination was brilliant and the forwards dynamic. The fullbacks. R. Gillespie and R. Lapworth, normally halves, were solid and safe. The half line played as a unit and broke up nearly all attacks by the North Coast team. B Maunsell was brilliant in a splendid forward line. Scorers for New Zealand were: G. By les (4), Maunsell (3), M. O’Connor (1). and B Judge (1). McPhee scored for North Coast.
