Rangiora County Planing

Planning Althousth there was not a great deal of urban development in the Rangiora county, there were urban parts such as beach settlements which were virtually concerned with Christchurch and •'within the sphere of things in the city.” said Mr E. J. Bradshaw, the chairman, to the Christchurch Regional Planning Authority, yesterday. He was reoorting on talks he and the Regional Planner (Miss N. Northcroft) had with the Rangiora County Council on the possibility of the council joining the authority He added that he was hopeful that the council would give a favourable decision “As the city grows and planning extends, the Rangiora county will come in for further development and the county area should be within our thinking at this planning stage.” said Mr Bradshaw.
