Use For U.K. Surpluses (N.Z. Press Assn.— Copyright) LONDON, July 3 A campaign is building up in Britain to persuade the Government that surplus milk, now being fed to animals. should instead be sent to starving women and children in Africa and Asia. Reporting this yesterday, "Reynolds News" said the campaign was being led by the Labour opposition's shadow Commonwealth relations secretary (Mr HilaryMarquand) and the “war on want” movement. Britain is currently threatened with a glut of milk and the Government is seeking to cut back production.
