Men Escape Injury In Car Accident

Four Christchurch men had a remarkable escape from serious injury on Sunday afternoon when the car in which they were travelling skidded off the road into a paddock and rolled over twice. The men—Messrs F. Crossan. G. Woodham, R. Towart and T. J. KirkBurnnand—were returning from a Returned Services' Association golf match at Greendale when, three miles on the city side of Greendaie. the ear went into a skid in loose metal.

The men escaped with bruises and shock, but the late-model car was badly damaged.
