Six Members In “The Lark”
Six members of the studio group of the Canterbury Repertory Theatre Society will be in the Canterbury University Drama Sooietv's production of Jean Anouilh’s play “The Lark." St. Joan will be played by Margaret Atherton, Joan’s mother will be played by Geraldine Boyes, who will also play Ann Boleyn in the Repertory Society’s production of “Henry VIII” for the Shakespeare Festival.
Geoffrey Eathome will play the Dauphin in “The Lark,” and other members of the studio are Elizabeth Booth. Antony Agar and Jeremy Agar.
The repertory society’s producer. Mr Heath Joyce, said yesterday that 18 of the ; original 32 members of the studio group had continued for tuition for a second term and were now in a more advanced class. A new class has also been formed with 14 members, some of whom are alreadv known in dramatic circles in Christchurch.
