Fewer Offences At Intersections
Offences against give-way and stop signs at intersections were decreasing slightly as a result of the current campaign against offences of this nature, said the City Council’s acting-traffic superintendent (Mr H. Birdling) yesterday. "The public are beginning to realise that we are serious about this.” he said. The traffic officers detailed to watch intersections are moving constantly to new areas.
