It is intended that the investigations should later be extended to other pests and other kinds of fruits. Current work consists pi observations and experiment* In the field and the laboratory. DUTIES— To assist in planning, organising, implementing and supervising ecological research work, and in interpreting numerical results. The appointee will also be expected to take charge of investigational projects within the framework of the Section’s activities. QUALIFICATIONS— University degree in Science or Agricultural Science, preferably with Entomology as a major subject or with training to full professional status in Horticulture, or equivalent qualifications. Whatever training is possessed, a knowledge of, or experience in, horticulture, preferably in pomology, would be advantageous, although not essential.
