Spirits will be among the imports for which licence applications will be considered individually. Tee in bulk will be allowed in to the extent of 25 per cent, of 1960 licences. Coffee, the imports of which have increased greatly in recent years, will be subject to individual application, with a proviso that licences will be plus 20 per cent, of 1960 Licences. This applies only to naw coffee. Roasted coffee and coffee essence will be prohibited. Raw cocoa beans will be allowed on individual application plus 15 per cent of 1960 licences. All types of confectionery except medicated will be in the D category, as will biscuits. Oranges and bananas are made subject to individual application, but there is no allocation Bor grapes, grapefruit. and mandarins. Tinned fruit, including pineapple, is also given a D grading. Ca;>ere. canraway seeds, and caviare, pickles, sauces, soups, fisih pastes and cheese from overseas will also be absent from grocers’ shops once the licences already granted have been used.
