With) Native Hero she won a Wairarapa Cup and the Wanganui Liverpool Cup. j Native Hero was trained by V. D. Clutterbuek. who has trained' every horse to carry the Page colours since. j While he was training at. Lower Hutt and Carterton. Clutterbuck also prepared Mary Brown and Victor Kyle.'
