Negotiations on a persona) basis for a United States amateur golf team to visit New Zealand are continuing Latest advice is that an American team may tour either before or after the Eisenhower Trophy contest in Tokyo in 196? Reporting the progress of his negotiations with an American administrator, Mr D O Whyte, of Wellington told today’s meeting of the New Zealand Golf Council that the United Stab could not fit in a tour this year, as had been hoped.
