Strict Control In New Bill

The bill re-enacts without amendment existing provisions prohibiting the manufacture of liquor in the Cook Islands. The Resident Commissioner of the Cook Islands or of Niue may import liquor into the Cook Islands either for hospitals or medical services or for sale in accordance with p-her provisions of the bill. Offences are created for the sale, offer of sale or possession of liquor except in accordance with the provisions of ordinance made under the bill Shirt - sleeved.
