Registration Provisions

(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, June 23 An Engineering Associates Bill introduced i.. the House of Representatives today provides for the registration and control of persons who have substantial practical experience in positions of responsibility connected with engineering works, but who do not have the qualifications necessary for registration under the Engineers' Registration Act. The bill follows the pattern of other acts which provide tor registration and discipline of members of a trade or profession The Minister in charge of the bill, the Minister of Works (Mr Goosmam said he believed that those involved by the bill agreed to its contents. The bill was reaa a second time pro forma and referred to the Labour Bills Committee.
