Difference On Control (N.Z Press Association) DUNEDIN. June 23. A difference of opinion between the Public Service Association and members of the New Zealand Broadcasting Service has been resolved “for the time being.” According to information available in Dunedin both parties hold definite views on the future control of New Zealand’s broadcasting and television and they have submitted these to the Government Caucus committee on television. According to a report today from Auckland a Dunedin grouo of broadcasting staff members sought support throughout New Zealand for the idea of broadcasting and television completely free from control of the Public Service Commission. Since then the association has issued a pamphlet to the broadcasting and television staff urging it not to support the suggestion. It is understood that a meeting has been held between representatives of the association and the Broadcasting Service and that both parties have left the decision with the caucus committee.
