Opposition To Any Move »JV2 Press Association > WELLINGTON. June 14. Opposition to any move to decontrol meat prices was expressed by the Consumer Council todav, in support of the Tauranra Consumer .Association and the Auckland District Consumer Committee. After a press report of a request by the Master Butchers' Federation for removal of controls, the Tauranga association had written to the Minister of Industries and Commerce <Mr Marshall) asking him not to accede to the request, the council was told.
