Maori All Black Trial
(N Z Press Association) ROTORUA, June 10. Little new talent emerged in a somewhat disappointing Maori All Black trial at Rotorua today. After leading 13-8 at half--1 time, the Possibles ran away to a one-sided 22-13 win. A shortage of tight forwards, particularly in the 1 prop position, was evident. Thompson (North I Auckland), at second flveI eighths, M. Herewini (Auckland), at first five-eighths, W. !Nathan (Auckland), a side[row forward. M. Maniatoto i(Bay of Plenty), a lock, and W. Wordley (King Country), la hooker. | The scorers were: I Possibles: Tries by V. Yates '(2). M Maniatoto. W. Nathan. !W. Wordley, and A. Rolleston, and two conversions by P T Walsh and V. Yates. I Probables: Tries by H. [Phillips (2). and N. Doherty, and two conversions by M Walters.
