Young Men In Harbour

(N.Z Press Association) WELLINGTON, June 11. Two young men spent a chilli 20 minutes in Wellington Harbour before wharf police came to their resuce this evening. Graeme Pritchard, aged 23, an able seaman in the Waipawa, and Robert Russell, aged 16. Waipawa deck boy, lost the paddles of their kayak about 400 yards off shore. Their efforts to recover them capsized the craft. Called in at about 4.50 p.m., wharf police set out in the police launch and brought the pair to safety. One was suffering from cramp and both were feeling the effects of cold and exposure. They were returned to the Waipawa.
