The Minister of Housing (Mr Rae) returned to Wellington yesterday after a visit to Christchurch and Ashburton. Yesterday morning he made a tour of housing development in the city. He was accompanied by the District Housing Supervisor r.f the Ministry of Works (Mr H. S. Sherbrooke) and the district manager of the State Advances Corporation (Mr H. R. McKenzie). Judge Stilwell has been reappointed the Pharmacy Authority for another year. Dr. H. W. J. Fox has been appointed radiotherapy registrar at the Christchurch Hospital He will take up his appointment this year. Mr H. E. Pelletier has been appointed mill manager for the Tasman Pulp and Paper Company in Kawerau. He will succeed, on July 12. Mr H. A. E. Levensailor, who has resigned to take up a position in the United States—(P.A.) Messrs L. G. Bedford and G. L. McLatchie have been appointed to .he New Zealand Poultry Board and as members of the New Zealand Egg Marketing Authority for terms of two years from June 1 This is notified in the Gazette.—(P.A.) Mr A. A. Cook, headmasters’ representative on the Christchurch district commit-1 tee of the King George V Memorial Health Camps’ Federation, has been elected chairman of the committee.
