DISPUTE AT KAWERAU

Mr Walsh Leads Delegation (N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, June 8. The Federation of Labour had been called into a Kawerau dispute, and its president, Mr F. P. Walsh, is leading the workers’ delegation at a conciliation meeting tomorrow morning in the Wellington Conciliation Commissioner’s chambers. The chairman will be the assistant Secretary of Labour, Mr H. Parsonage. Employers and workers are meeting to discuss a threatened stoppage of a construction job at the Kawerau paper mill.
