DUNEDIN, June 8. Be Game, Clutha Lady and Paha were three of the most impressive trialista at Wingatui this morning when the final gallops for the Dunedin Jockey Club's meeting were held under ideal conditions. Be Game (J. D. Pankhurst) and Clutha Lady (A. I. Powell) completed half a mile on the plough in 54sec after taking 14sec for the opening furlong. Be Game is one of the early favourites for the Electric Stakes after his promising debut on the first day of the mee’ing. when he finished fifth in the Tria! Stakes. Royal Gothic (J. R. Dowling) and Arc Flight (S. J. Diack) were together at the eod Of five furlongs in Imm fisec. after taking 28aec for the tot two flurlongs. Most ot the gallops were held on the inrhe grass, where the tones were not fast On# of the best trials on the grass was recorded by Pahi (J. R. Dowling) when he graded Si«>er Sage (B. E. Kennedy by half a length at the end of half a mile in 56sec. the opening furlong in 12 2-ssec. This time was equalled by NaUin <L W. Hare), which came home the lari three furlongs in Osec. Cheyenne (It. J. Skelton) was not out for time in fifiaee, to opening ftirlong in
Garrob (R. N. Marsh) also took 58sec, the first furlong in 13sec. These times were equalled by Elrick (R. J. Skelton). Ravelston (H. T. Anderton) and Sydtrev (B J. Anderton' were given an easy task over the same ground in 59sec. the opening furlong in 14sec. Glendale (I* W. Hare) came home the last three furlongs in 43 3-ssec. Francisco (R. J. Skelton) took 45sec. but was well past ‘he peg before he got into his stride. The best five furlongs was recorded by Chattel (G. W. Fosteri, which was accompanied by her stablemate. Panel (L. W. Hare) in Imin Bsec. the first two furiongs in 25 2-ssec. Panel has beeh scratched from the Queen Elizabeth Handicap. Cross Gain <G. Foster) shaded Ops (R. J. Skelton) and Fuji Yama (R. N. Marsh) in Imin 9sec the last three furlong# in 43 l-ssec. Cinnaman (R. J. Skelton) and Captain Morgan (J. D. Pankhurst) were not extended in Imin 10 3-ssec, the first two furlangs in 26 4-ssoc. Kumai (B. J. Anderton). Corneil (G Mclntyre) aad Mananui (H. T. Anderton) were together in imin 10 3-seec. the first two furlongs in X 3-Scec. Aroair has been scratched from the Aldworth Hantoep aad will atari ia l|he TWato Haadieap.
