Win For Mrs Spearman (N.Z.P.A .-Reuter—Copyright) CARNOUSTIE (Scotland), June 2 Mrs Marley Spearman, a former chorus girl, won the British women’s open golf championship yesterday when she beat Miss Diane Robb, aged 17, in the aU-British 36hole final. Mrs Spearman holed a long putt on the twentyninth green for a three, and halved the next hole to win 7 and 6. She had the gallery of 2000 gasping with the magnificence of her game on the inward half of the first round. when she had three consecutive threes to be four up at the halfway stage.
