Bay Of Plenty Nominations
(N.Z. Press Association) TAURANGA, June 2.
Bay of Plenty Rugby selector, Mr W. Girling-Butcher, announced today that eight Bay players had been nominated for inclusion in the New Zealand trials to be played at Palmerston North on June 22 and in Wellington on June 27. They are: Backs—-J, R. Morrison, M. J. Doherty and D. T. Bradburn. Forwards— K. D. Parkinson, G. V. Davis, M. Maniapoto, E. J. Anderson and G. A. Mellow.
CHANGES TO RUGBY DRAW JUNIOR B Merivale B win by default. Varsity C win by default. THIRD GRADE Kaiapoi w/d v. TechnicalShjrley I friendly). Kaiapoi 1, 2.45 pan., game cancelled. FOURTH GRADE Merivale a bye. UNDER 16 H. 5.0.8. B team v. Rangiora High School. South Park 23, 2.45 p.m. Rangiora High School win by default.
