CHARGES DENIED
Pathet Lao Reply (NZ.P.A -Reuter—Copyright) GENEVA. May 27 The leader of the Left-wing Laotian delegation to the 14nation Laos conference in Geneva, tonight described American charges that the Pathet Lao had violated the Laos cease-fire as a “pure calumny.” The Left-wing leader, Mr Phoumi Vongvichit. told a press conference that the United States statement was a “pure calumny.” and added that if there were any sporadic incidents in Laos. these were the fault of the Rightwing troops who nad committed acts of "brigandage.” He claimed that United States aircraft had violated Pathet Lao air space 50 times since the cease-fire was announced. and that the United States and the Right-wing Laotian Government were trying to sabotage both the Geneva conference and the Na Mon. talks.
