Several Sharp Falls On ’Change
Burns Philp were Is down at 79s in Christchurch business yesterday, after their 2s 3d rise in Auckland on Monday. Colonial Sugar fell a further 20s to £73 10s. Phillipps and Impey were Is up at 77s 6d. S.P.A.N.Z. also made a good gain, rising 6d to 7s 6d. Cox Bros, dropped sharply to sell at 6s 4d. New Zealand shares made 15 gains to 10 losses and overseas shares four gains to six losses.
