30 Suspected Cases

(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, May 26. Thirty suspected cases of poliomyelitis spread over six North Island health districts were notified to the Health Department for the week ended last Saturday. Auckland with 13 had the greatest number of notifications. The Hamilton district had seven, and the other districts, Takapuna, Papakura. and Rotorua, had three each. There was one notification in Wellington, but none in the South Island. A considerable number of suspected infective hepatitis cases were recorded in the same period throughout the country.

Hamilton, with 17. had the highest number of notifications, and Dunedin had 11 cases.
