TABLET BOTTLES NEEDED

Appeal By Hospital Board

Tablet bottles were urgently needed by Christchurch hospitals, the acting secretary of the North Canterbury Hospital Board (Mr D. Horne* said yesterday. He appealed to anyone ’ with spare tablet bottles of any size or sliape to pass them in for hospital use. Tire bottles were almost Impossible to buy. Mr Horne said. Only tablet bottles were needed, however. “It will be an embarrassment to us if medicine or ointment bottles come in.” said Mr Horne. The bottles could be in any condition, as long as they were not broken: the board had a machine which would clean any dirty ones. They should be handed in to the orderlies’ lodge at one of the hospitals.
