Queen’s Scout Badge Award

The coveted Queen’s Scout Badge was awarded to David Pierce Fitzgerald at Lyttelton last evening. David, who will be 18 next month, is a member of the Lyttelton Sea Scout senior troop. He is the son of Mr and Mrs R. J. Fitzgerald, of Cressy terrace. Lyttelton. A clerk in the Union Steam Ship Company's Lv’tel’nn office, David Fitzg-'tald, who was born at Hokiiika, has been connected with scouting for 11 years. He represented Canterbury at Rugby against the West Coast four years ago in the under 6st 71b grade.
