AUCKLAND, May 22. Shareholders of Bay of Plenty Airways, Ltd., at their annual meeting on Saturday unanimously decided to invite the National Airways Corporation to participate In the reorganisation of the company.
As announced, the airline, which runs services from Auckland and Wellington to Tauranga and Whakatane. was recently placed in re. ceivership. The receiver (Mr R. A. Newman) will call an extra, ordinary meeting in about four weeks’ time. At this meeting, proposals for the reorganisation will be put to shareholders.
