St. Helens Hospital
' Sir.—So the new wing of St Helens hospital is to be left in the raw state, with-, out a neat plastered finish. i "to form a contrast to the present building.” What an inglorious unsightly affair! ■Why not go the whole hog and build it with a wood frame and galvanised iron or throw a few buckets of
black paint over the new wing when it is finished? Either idea would create a decided contrast from the present edifice.—Yours, etc, FRANK S. PYNE. May 19, 1961.
