Post May Go To Australian <N.Z Prtsi Aim.—Copyright) MELBOURNE. May 19. The chairman of the wool boards of South Africa. Australia and New Zealand today interviewed candidates for the post of managing director of the International Woo! Secretariat.
A decision on the new post is expected during the next week, but the name of the man selected may not be announced for several weeks. The world-wide search for a suitable top executive has
now narrowed from almost 200 applicants to fewer than a dozen.
There is a strong possibility that the man chosen will not be an applicant for the post, but a businessman approached privately by the secretariat He is expected to be an Australian.
