HERALD ESTATE CAR
’AN estate car version of the Triumph Herald 1200 is now being manufactured at the new £2|m assembly plant in Coventry and will be available for sale on world markets during June. This new model will be exhibited at the British Trade Fair which opens in Moscow today. The estate car completes the recently announced Herald 1200 series and retains all
the features of this range—the 1147 c.c. engine, white rubber bumpers at front and rear, thicker and more comfortable seating and an attractive walnut facia panel. The car is also fitted with twin wing mirrors. Accessibility Vio the load platform of the estate car is aided by a spring-assisted, one-piece, top-hinged , rear door. Inside, the rear seats
fold forward to give a completely flat wide area capable of holding 45 cu. ft. or 5 cwt of luggage or goods. When the rear seat is in use there is still space for 20 cu. ft or lewt of luggage.
