Yorkshire Cup To Pandofell
(N.Z.P..A.-Reuter) LONDON. May 17. The Yorkshire Cup, run over two miles at York, today, was won by Pandofell, 8- ridden by Lester Piggott. Second was Poetic Licence, 9- (J. Mercer), and third was New Brig, 9-0 (N. Stirk). Six ran. Official starting prices were: Pandofell 11 to 4 favourite, Poetic Licence 7 to 1, New Brig 3 to 1.
