Detonators Taken To Pieces

(N.Z Press Association) AUCKLAND, May 17.

Five young Papatoetoe children who took a dozen detonators from a jigger in the Papatoetoe railway yard' at midday yesterday had taken them to pieces and set fire to the gunpowder before the local police caught up with them. None of the children suffered any injury. The Papatoetoe police recovered what was left of the detonators about 7.30 p.m.
