Rugby R. F. McMullen Retiring

AUCKLAND, May 10.

R. F. McMullen, one of the outstanding attacking backs produced in Auckland since the war, and an All Black from 1957 to 1960, said today that be has retired from all Rugby. The retirement was caused, he said, by a recurring knee injury. He had been told by a doctor that any further damage to the knee could be extremely serious.
